Why is it required to schedule a bridal beauty trial run?

Scheduling your trial run ensures that evey detail is discussed for creating the perfect look for your special event.  The final look is photographed and transfered onto a face chart. It is helpful to wear the hair/makeup for the day to see how it holds up. The trial run is a total time saver that helps the application process run smoothly on your big day!

What beauty products do you use?

Marla uses luxury beauty and pro artist brands in her makeup kit. Some of the  favorites that can be found in her kit are Dior, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Makeup Forever, MAC, Smashbox, Guerlain, La Mer, Stila, Senna, Kevyn Aucoin, Face Atelier, and so many more. You can find Paul Mitchell, Oribe, Bumble & Bumble and many more hair care lines in her hair kit.  

Where are your beauty trials held and do you offer on-location services?

All trials are held at Marla's studio. On the day of your event, Marla requires a minimum headcount for on-location services (please email for details) There is a travel fee for locations outside of Chicago (please email for details)

Do you offer airbrush services?

Yes. There is an additional fee for airbrush services.

Do you sell hair extensions?

No, you must bring any hair extensions that have been color matched and trimed to your length to your bridal beauty trial.

How can I secure my trial and wedding date for makeup and hair services?

Please email Marla to check availabilityA non-refundable security deposit is required to hold your date. 

Are you available for national and international travel?

Marla loves destination weddings. Some of her favorite destinations have been Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

Will my makeup last?

Marla swears by makeup primers, sealers, and setting sprays that will lock in your makeup for the entire night. Please read the testimonials for reviews from past brides who loved how the makeup wore throughout the night.
